Spring Dash

Join us for the 38th Annual Spring Dash!

Since 1982, Spring Dash has been the kickoff to the running season. Over the years, the event has been a fun run, a second-seeding qualifier for Bloomsday, a family “tot trot” and a great community event. Roughly 1,000 people participate in the race and thousands more are aware of the event in our community.  Join in on the fun of this great community tradition!

Frequently Asked Questions:

When is Spring Dash? Saturday, April 18, 2020. The Tot Trot begins at 9am and the main race starts at 9:30am.

Where is Spring Dash? McEuen Park, downtown Coeur d’Alene. The start/finish line is next to the Pavilion.

What does it cost? Adult registration is $25 and youth (17 and under) is $20. Prices go up by $5 on 4/7/20. Tot Trot (10 & under) is $8 and $10 after 4/7.

When is packet pickup? Packet pickup will be held on Friday, April 17th from noon to 6:00pm at Fleet Feet Sports in downtown Coeur d’Alene. Alternatively, participants will be able to pick up packets and register from 8-9am on the morning of the race.

How long is the Tot Trot? The Tot Trot runs the large paved loop in McEuen Park, which is approximately 1/3 mile. Kiddos under 5 take one lap and 5-10 year-olds run two laps.

What time to I need to qualify for Bloomsday Second Seeding? The five mile run needs to be completed in 31:00 for men and 37:00 for women to qualify.

Can I bring my dog with me? PLEASE, no pets in Spring Dash.
