Health Partners

The following programs are currently funded through the United Way of North Idaho, Kootenai County Community Care Fund.

Maryellen Scholarship Fund

This project ensures that thousands of uninsured neighbors are able to access healthcare while reducing communal taxation of our Urgent Care and Emergency Room resources. The program covers direct-patient costs required by Federal Law; allows patients to return for care of chronic illnesses; and raises community-wide awareness of awardee demographics, life situations and challenges.

Life Skills Program

The program identifies each new resident’s level of efficiency in critical life skills with the resident and his or her case manager. This allows residents to develop vital employment and life skills enabling them to live independent and contributing lives, either as Trinity residents or when they "graduate" to fully independent living in the community.
